SUMMARY:Songs Of Love Singing Workshop & Sharing - solo
DESCRIPTION:Learn songs that celebrate love in its many forms – some original songs of mine and some of my favourites from other songwriters. We’ll share a short set of those songs with an invited audience of your chosen guests at 3 pm. \nThe tickets for the day are “pay what you can afford” (£20/25/30/35) and include two guest tickets for the song sharing at 3 pm so that you can invite friends or family to attend. Further additional guest tickets can be purchased if needed on the day for £5 each. \nPLANNED PROGRAMME: \n10 am – 12 noon Welcome\, Warm Ups & Singing Session 1 \n12 noon – 1 pm Lunch. There is a room where we can eat\, so you can bring your own packed lunch\, and a kettle will be available if you’d like to make a hot drink\, or you can explore the local shops and cafes if you prefer! \n1 – 3 pm Singing Session 2 \n3 – 4 pm Song Sharing: a relaxed performance for invited family and friends \nTickets (at all prices) are available in my webshop now\, or if you prefer to keep things simple\, just email kim@kimedgar.com if you’d like to attend and I’ll keep a space for you. DESCRIPTION:Renowned Scottish singer songwriters Karine Polwart and Kim Edgar perform to raise funds for Keep The Heid Mental Health Cafes which offer a safe space to talk about mental health for people living in East Lothian.  All profits will go towards the running of sessions in Haddington\, Tranent and North Berwick. \nKarine Polwart is a multi-award-winning folk singer and storyteller.  Her songs evoke a richness of place\, hidden histories\, scientific curiosity and folklore.  Karine is a passionate supporter of Keep The Heid Mental Health Café: “Never has the need for mental health been so acute.  Having a safe\, accessible space for people in East Lothian to share stories and support each other is so important.” \nKim Edgar writes\, records and performs across the UK\, Europe and the USA\, both as a solo artist and as a member of the Germany-based folk band CARA.  Kim is a highly respected songwriter and her latest album Consequences features collaborations with artists such as Horse McDonald and Rachel Sermanni.    Kim says “I’m delighted to be able to support Keep The Heid.
